Small Gathering

big impact

I always jump at the opportunity…..

When the talented ladies at Marigold Design House message me that they’ve got an event to photograph, it’s like a beautiful gift. This team creates some of the most intricate designs for Indian weddings. I’ve seen them steam creases out of linens that face walls, adjust candles and pillars until they are just so, and all in time for me to clear the room and create images to capture the mood and lighting before the inevitable coats and purses land on the backs of chairs. (Another check in the box for a coat check because guests don’t think about your perfect chairs, lol)

This wedding was a small, last minute affair in mid-December 2020. Ah, Covid. So super early in the morning, I arrived at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue all masked up and headed up to the ballroom to be greeted by this stunning display.
