About Kimberly
It’s never easy to write about yourself but you definitely want to know more about the person who is basically your shadow on a wedding day or is looking to bring out the best version of yourself in a portrait session. The official line is that I’ve been a professional photographer since 2005 and am known for my natural, gesture based posing that is informed from my ballet background. Additionally, I work frequently at indoor wedding venues that require technical lighting skills to create natural yet dynamic effects which is also a benefit in the ever changing outdoors. I’ve had the honor of being awarded Seattle Bride Magazine’s Best Photographer multiple times in my career. I’ve been recognized and invited by The World’s Best Wedding Photographers to join their ranks. Basically, I take my work incredibly seriously while keeping your experience lighthearted, fully planned, transparent, and poised for genuine and emotional moments to happen.
What’s more fun to talk about is my never ending hunger for podcasts, games of all types, music, and media. In fact, Into Dust Photography is named for an all time favorite Mazzy Star track ☆
